The planet of Minos is a foreboding place. The earth is parched and lava pushes its way through cracks in the surface. There are no signs of biological life, vox-sweeps return nothing. Minos is a dead world, yet it burns in the inky void like the eye of an angry god.
A Tyrant-class cruiser of the Imperial Navy patrols the void around Minos, enforcing an ancient quarantine.
The last symphonic of Iohan Jocovic[]
Minos is a holy place to the faithful of Iohan Jocovic. His last symphonic was recorded and sealed away in the Somnis Shrine on the planet's surface, where it still plays through ancient vox-casters.
A cult called the Order of the Hammer Fingers took up resirence, knowing it to be a holy place but not knowing where the music came from.
Iohan Jocovic actually uncovered terrible secrets below the surface of Minos, something he called the Sleeping City. He worked with treacherous xenos powers to create a device to keep those secrets hidden. It is rumoured that this 'Symphonia' was powerful enough to keep a terrible entity called the Sleeping King permanently slumbering.
